would you need to? I not only use red Lok Tite on all scope bases but I also put a small dab of 2 part epoxy on the open spot on the Leupold base. Plus I never use anything except Leupold dual dovetail base and rings. There is no way the rings can come loose in that set up. The Leupold set up is the best on the market, yet on the HHC hunts I always see guys with some aluminum crap on their guns.
My 450 GNR that I took a Cape Buffalo with back in 2018 was put on there probably 20 years ago and is still on there. Not that it is doing me any good as that was one of 3 guns stolen in Qatar so some raghead is using it today.
