normally you can find older used barrels fairly cheap and in most cases they can be re-worked into one of the GNR calibers and save you some money.

has back ordered the Contender/G-2 bases. The Dual Dovetail rings are no problem but no bases are available.

should be a good investment as there is always a call for the Encores and G-2s and their equipment should be in good shape as it is only a few years old. The only dog I see in the bunch is that semi auto 22 rifle that they kept promoting and trying to make it something special. If they had spent the same amount of man hours making encores and G-2s they would probably have been better off financially. Just my humble opinion.
