At the local UPS hub. A “UPS Store” has quoted $132 to ship it to CA for warranty repairs. The local hub lady clerk was apologetic that the amount was $41. So shop around. That store is a robber’s nest. How many little old people just belly up?!

Anyway I was flirting with the gal and asked her when the crawfish boil was going to happen? Puzzled she inquired. Then I pointed out the ditch in front of the shop, literally covered with crawdad holes. Being from CA she had no idea what I was talking about.

Every summer the crawdads roll little balls of mud and push them to form these towers marking their holes and access to water beneath. If you roll a pebble down them you can generally hear it splash. As kids we would drag the ditches for crawfish to use as bait. Catfish really eat them up!

You sweet talker!!

so they can make up their own rules as they go along. They often tell people that they can't ship any gun in any manner, not even FFL to FFL. They know nothing about gun laws at all.

That's interesting. Never knew they lived in

ditches like that. Thought they were in ponds and lakes. We relocated about 75 into our pond a couple years ago. Never saw another sign of them since.
We also put in rainbow trout about 6 inches long. They are a foot or so now.

Last week at a friends house, fresh from Louisiana. YUM!
