To add a bit more praise on Gary’s Flatnose

Tool, I have a K-22 that has been my squirrel hunting companion for going on 40 years. For the most part, it absolutely abhors high velocity ammo……but standard and subsonic ammo it is highly accurate with. I bought one of Gary’s flatnose tools and got in touch with my inner Waterboy and began trying it out with a variety of ammo. I found the accuracy of whatever I was shooting didn’t usually change….perhaps a slight shift of the grouping but the size of the group would essentially remain the same. The real difference is in the performance on game. I’ve found the performance on rabbits and squirrels with standard velocity ammo using Gary’s tool is as good as high velocity hollow points. What this tool has enabled me to do is extend the distance that I can place a responsible shot with my handgun. I think buying one of Gary’s tools is one of the best investments a small game hunter can make. I bet a flat nosed .22 Mag would be interesting too……
