I heard a blurb about an active shooter situation down in the St. Augustine area of Florida today. I'm sure it will be exploited if true.
To be honest I'm not interested in taking my family to any densely attended public gatherings. With the spread of the Covid type flu and easy prey for some nut, I can't enjoy things worrying about it. We make our own fun and stay out in the country. Strap up extra for town runs.
