We had to do a little shopping. I decided to see if the local pawn shop had any Remington 40 gr. Golden Bullet .22 Long Rifle ammo.

My daughter's .22 Bersa Thunder runs like a sewing machine with them ... tends to have problems with other ammo. She shoots the cheap stuff for practice as it gives her good drills on clearing the gun .. but for carry we keep the Remington's in it.

I found them online for $11 a hundred plus shipping.

Checking the Green Country Pawn Shop I found he had 6 50-round boxes. $6 a box (including tax) so I took 'em. Twelve cents a round vs. about fifteen cents a round if I ordered them online. Plus I had them in hand.
