2 books on shooting and reloading. These are the 2 original soft back books and are in excellent condition. No torn or missing pages and no torn cover. Just excellent condition. The hardback version of the 2 volumes run at least $45 each in good condition. I have both book 1 and the supplement (book 2) sale priced at $30 for the pair.

I also have Ackley's "Pocket Manual" with all the info found in the other 2 books but without a lot of the pressure charts and such, just good reliable info. This one is also in great condition and sale priced at $25.

22-250 Improved rifle for varmint shooting. I have the hard back versions of these books at home and was recently checking the data for the 22-250 Ackley Improved cartridges to see if I could improve my old original data. Data for just about every cartridge, standard or improved is in the 2 books I showed above. If you like to see where your cartridge started out and see how it was improved thru the years these are the books for you. And at about one third of what the hard back versions run.

22-250 , can gain a bit by fire forming to Ackley

improved and the dies are available. But unless you are going to shoot heavy bullets at very long distances, its really not worth it. We are killing chucks out to 800 yds with the straight 22-250. Good optics and tailored handloads and agood trigger are better investments. Just my 2 cents worth. I shoot a 220 swift to get the extra gain.

That is my plan. I built one in 22-250 Improved

several years ago and somewhere along the way it was sold or traded. I used 62 grain bullets as they buck the wind we have here better.

I will take the two book volumes if available.
