tone warble. The teachers would tell us to only take what is special or important to us. Our chemistry teacher was maybe 21, a little petite brunette, maybe 5'2" and stacked in all the right places. I was a senior at the time. When the bell went off she started yelling for us to do the fire drill (go out in the hall and stand near the nearest exit), so I ran up the isle and grabbed her and carried her out into the hallway. She kept saying for me to put her down. I told her I couldn't until the all clear bell went off. Surprisingly I didn't get into any trouble. But later I did think that maybe I should have taken her out the door and out to my '60 Chevy but that might have taken things too far.

They used to put us in the hall and tell us to put our heads between our knees. That' where I learned the expression
" Kiss your a** goodbye"

Way back when we were in school the desks were very heavy and could protect us from anything! Todays desks, will only help the melt!

We had fire drills too. The bell would go off with the 3

But… you have to remember!
