while this is a confession it is not a repentance.. I do not like light colored grips. There I have said it. It is just me personally

I prefer stainless guns with good fitting grips, horn, wood, and ivory

nickle plated, or that have no finish because of constant use, or guns that have never been used. I only like guns that are short and handy or really long. Mostly I like the ones I have and the ones I am gonna obtain.

out of the stainless and not worry.... Once in Alaska I saw a hunters blue Browning rifle start showing rust in two days :-(

grips. I have yet to see a really good fit on any factory grips. We got one of the new Pythons (3" model) in recently for engraving and new stag grips. The factory grips were horrible, big gaps and they didn't reach the edges of the gripframe, plus they were warped at the bottom. We also got a couple of the new Anaconda Colts in recently with the same thing. One would think on a $2000 or $3000 gun the factory grips would be perfect, Unfortunately no.
