So a 22 year old man .. with no military or police training .. stopped an active shooter within seconds of the shooter starting to fire on people. An untrained man with a handgun did what 400 police officers with all kinds of equipment were unable to do in the Uvalde school.

To my suspicious mind the Ulvalde situation sounds like much more than mere incompetence.

Agreed!

right. Thinking that all those police let 17 little kids and their teachers get gunned down and chose not to do anything about it really gives me a bad feeling about where this country is heading.

As with the death camps in Germany circa WWII,the first responders followed orders rather than thinking for themselves

Any rational adult should have rushed to the aid of those children. Off scene management should not dictate the response.
In hindsight they b
Should get their asses sued off.

The thoughts of many common sense folks.

Uvalde shooting was planned.

Again. Maybe I am getting a tad jaded with the ways of the world but when I see an image of an LE smiling and almost laughing on the screenshot something tells me there is something seriously wrong.
