I think I'll add an optic sight to my SIG 320 X-carry. It has a place pre-drilled for the Leupold Delta Point Pro which is a good sight. No adapters or fiddling. But I really like the sound of the Trijicon RMR Type 2 that has all this auto adjusting and is nails tough. But it requires some type of adapter plate that is largely sold out. (there must be a reason)

It's almost too easy to just jump on Leupold and learn about the type of sights. I can always add it to my carbine later. Still I find myself looking for the correct adapter for the Trijicon. It's tricky for the X-carry/M18.

Anybody have either sight? All others besides the SIG Romeo line requires adapter plates too, for my 320. It adds complexity and a bit more cost. The factory Trijicon plate lists for $71.

Then again when you were my age you were still abusing -yourself with .500 LB! I'm a lightweight as it's rough on me now. Small doses.

*I worked on a boat last weekend. Had to take the entire ass-end out of it to get to a V-8 starter under the engine in a hole (I said some unkind things about engineers and their general heritage). Two bolts, first one took me 15 minutes to get loose, second one four hours! Two trips to town and a self made tool later I got it out and rebuilt for $100. I'd say I'm tool old to do things like that anymore but I keep having to accomplish the tasks. My boy helped me some and learned some fancy words, ancestry of engineers etc. Next day I felt like I'd been in a hit-and-run.

I kinda resemble that remark about engineers LOL

The recovery time is greatly extended and my attitude continues to erode.
Every simple job has some glitch,a torqued bolt, anything to make it more time consuming.
I am steadily moving to use the greatest labor saving device in history, MONEY.
Pay the young guy. He's happy and so am I.
