I converted a .50 and .54 Hawken to a musket nipple long ago, was worrying about hunting up the stock #11 nipple. You know I just remembered it’s probably in the patch box! Adds versatility. I do have a .58 Zouave that also uses musket caps, probably needs them! Forget what my White .50 uses, musket or #11. They have a 209 conversion but it’s expensive (about $100).

And are those the 12” barrels you were referring to in a previous post? Pretty awesome idea. What twist rate did you use?

Aren’t those 58 Remington by Pieta a metric thread? I checked one once and if i remember correctly it was right around 33tpi, which my SouthBend lathe didn’t want to do.
