So here I am a conservative republican, former independent , way long ago former democrat hoping and voting so we can have a republican win. Then I find out about a veteran/VA money bill that was to sail through congress yesterday and was defeated by 27 republicans! WTF? more lessons on shooting ourselves in the foot?
Correct. There are about 10 statesmen. Rest are politicians.

That bill was to compensate Vets who got sick from burn pits and many vet organizations were pushing for this. Whomever the ones who voted against it, I hope someday I can tell them what I think of them.
