rather than FFg or Pyrodex? I need to step my Sharps load up just a bit to get the sights to be closer, at less than 100 yds. I'm about a foot high at closer ranges running around 1,000 fps. I think 1200-1300 fps would do it. I didn't have any fair rifle powder to use so I used an old Lyman load using fast shotgun/pistol powder and a filler Dacron tuft. But it limits velocity as pressures rise quickly in relation to performance. Now slower rifle powder is available in my neck of the woods ($40-45 per lb).
I also have an interest in "Express" level loads using 300-350 gr. cast loads for economy. No telling how much lower those would hit depending on velocity. I'm wanting to mimic old BP performance with smokless.
