I forced myself to load a few rounds, old school style. Single stage press, even found an old transistor radio on the backside of my bench. Listened to a local FM station like the old days. I like random tunes, something more interesting about it.
Started out with 200 gr. Nosler JHP with 14.5 gr. 4227, right around 950-1000 fps. Then I ran out of bullets! There was not 100 in the box. I pilfered some I guess long ago. So I scrounged some 240 XTPs with the same charge, probably kicked it past the 13k CUP but it’s ok. May be about 100 more fps than the 200s at that too.
Something very satisfying about working small batches old school,
