I get e-mails asking what caliber do I recommend for plains game and which caliber for dangerous game. Now I could answer those questions but I am very biased and my answers would be my own GNR calibers and those that hunted Africa with me know what calibers I would probably pick . So to be a bit more objective I will ask you Misfits to answer that. So if you were going to Africa what 3 rifle calibers would you bring with you and on the other side of that coin if you were a handgun hunter what 3 calibers would you bring? So there you go, 2 separate questions, calibers for plains game and for dangerous game. And remember no rimfires, no shotguns and no semi autos are allowed.
