He really comes up with stuff. These are informed, primed, .45 cases from CCI. Aluminum, so unsuitable for revolvers -locks them up) but using some tinkering with .40/.41 dies I think I can load my own .45 ACP shot shells. The necking will set the headspace so that’s the main critical adjustment. A card for topping off shot held in check by hot glue will do the trick. You can make them from cut off ‘06 size brass too.
Best as single shot but with a stiff charge and radius mouth you might get them to cycle. It will be fun tinkering. The CCI are unavailable (I’ve seen GB prices of $50/10). I used some in 9mm (blue capsule), .40, and .45 to shoot field rats off the bush hog!
Other things that come to mind are aluminum case .45 Win Mag., .460 Rowland, or .45 GAP for goofs!

To anyone on here for the first time, most of the
people on here are normal but we do have a handful of abnormal people that can best described as perverts in the first degree who are obsessed with pink duct tape, edible panties and see thru panties. These people own large caliber handguns to make up for small body parts and also own cannons and move them from room to room quite often as they love to play with their balls. Your best bet is to ignore them and be thankful that they don't live next door to you.

Using a .41 Magnum sizing die ...
these seat and will fire in the 1911. I want to make a die to "round-nose" the cases once I have them loaded.

CCI at $3+ a round it’s fun tinkering.
If it don’t split on firing Denning said he’s center drilled them to fire once more with std. primers. Making brass ones sounds fun but I bet some inside case thinning would help.

you can punch them out with a Lee die, but being the CDO (same as OCD - but alphabetized like it should be) critter I am, I took a drill bit and cut the base of the berdan pin before punching them out. That was way back when access to ANY reloading components was iffy/non-existent (20th Century, S. American continent) so we loaded anything we could get however we could. Never tried more than one reloading after the initial factory load, but what few that came our way worked fine for that one. Looking forward to seeing your results with these.
