as we were expecting temps around 20 overnight. I spotted something moving in front of me and looked down. It was a little frog, maybe half an inch in size. He was bright green with little black strips running down each side, from the side of his face down to his legs. He didn't seem to be affected by the temps in the mid 30s. We have had mornings around 20 in the last couple of days. Seemed a bit cold for a frog. I picked him up and put him in our big wood pile figuring that might be a good place for a frog. Question here is anyone ever seen a small bright green frog with black stripes like that before. I probably caught some wild disease from handling him. We have seen other odd critters lately like Horny Toads that are never seen up here at 8000 feet, and a little Garter snake out in the yard. The dogs had already had fun with him by the time I spotted him. Like the toads we never have snakes up here. Strange things lately.
