The incision didn’t not hurt at all, wonderful work. However there was burning pain anytime I moved, real tender. It was the bandage! I have a nice rectangle of blisters (yucky fluid filled) where the bandage adhesive was, not a skin allergy. It’s called “Traction Blistering”, sort of like an Indian rope burn. The adhesive is so immobilizing to the skin that movement pulls the tissue tearing at it literally causing friction burns. My own research sort of pissed me off since it said it’s totally avoidable. Every time I moved I thought the incision hurt but it was the bandage biting me!

The Dr. was like “that happens sometimes”, yeah thanks. The bandage was lots worse than the knife work. Just FWIW, look it up yourself. Very common to some types of procedures.

I had it done maybe 10 years ago but I had the

The 3rd they put a mesh in, that was around 2000 I think. Glad your doing good Scotty!

The bandage they put on my shoulder 5 weeks ago was weird, kinda like soft duct tape , that sucked taking it off. See the surgeon tomorrow for post op check up.
See if I can find a pic of that bandage.

material except it sticks to itself. The nurses love it. Every time I get blood drawn I wrap the piece around the forend of my shorty AR. I have nice pink and purple accents now. LOL

That tape looks like it could take hide off! My skin is getting thin, I can bump something and bleed everywhere.

Oh yeah! I got some of that pink stuff today Lol
