Well, enjoy time with family and friends, especially in the field. That’s the thing about life, it’s terminal. Go hunting while you can, we’re all getting older. I appreciate all the misfits I have been able to meet and hunt with, even talking and visiting on line.

5 Years?

It sure doesn't seem that long. The older we get the more we have to refer to friends in the past tense. It is a sad fact of life. Puffy energized every room he entered. Still missed.

Yep

Of emails from Gary too. It’s from when your website got hacked Gary. It’s funny I don’t send them to spam cause they make me smile and remember when.

After my wife died I got an email from her.

"She" wanted to add me to her Facebook page. I looked and sure enough someone had made a Facebook page in her name, pretending to be her. I would have loved to have 10 minutes alone with whoever that was. I don't think I would have been praying with them .... though I may have asked forgiveness from the Lord later on.

Every now and then I get an e-mail from me

always trying to get me to invest with him and how I can become ultra rich overnight. I let him know who I am and that I have all his info and plan to press charges and so on. For some reason I never hear from him again.

So many Misfits have moved on, we’ll follow in our own time too. Till then I cherish the memories and new adventures as they come.

Puff was a one of a kind character. Quite intelligent, and such a kind heart. I do miss him sorely.

We had talked about. Some we had a common admiration. Nothing fancy. An old ML TC flintlock. But it was nice to help his wife and remember him that way. Puffy liked old stuff like that too. I have a couple guns I traded Puffy out of years before he passed, couple of his Reeder barrels too.

Makes me sort of melancholy, but good memories too.

5 years passes so quickly, I hope the kids are doing well.
