It was with great glee I enjoyed a late published work by
Mr. Taffin. It was a tutorial on how he made “cartridges”, consumable paper ones for BP revolvers. While I think I’ll roll my own, so to speak, a little differently, he had some really useful tips and nuggets, links cited to spend hours of plotting and play. Hats off Mr. T! Another rare worthwhile assemblage of verbiage worthy of the time, a real gem these days. I want to make some for this little .31 and my beautiful cased Reeder custom 1861 .36 Avenging Angel.

A most puzzling little fire belcher. For all the bark and fun I can’t hit the broadside of a barn standing inside with the doors closed. Still working on that. I had wanted a model of this piece and finally found one at a reasonable price. Packs a bit more punch than a .25 ACP but with much more fanfare!
