Reeder Custom Guns - It 's strange how things in the gun world change

This time last year we couldn't get enough 6.5 Creedmoor rifles or ammo in to make the young shooters happy. Now we have a rack full and can't give them away. Already this morning 2 people have been in trying to trade off their 6.5 Creedmoor for any good caliber. All of a sudden their buddy who talked them into the Creedmoor isn't the smartest guy in the world after all.

Who had 6.5 CM rifles were all wannabe. 1,000 yard plus snipers. They have no earthly idea how to use ballistic charts. After all, they were convinced 6.5 CM shoots flat to 1,000 yards and even asked me what difference does crosswind matter, It’s a 6.5 CM.? I miss my old 6.5x55 Swede, I really do. I got a Ruger 6.5 CM American Ranch rifle in a trade that I may suppress to use for coyotes. The young lad was positive he had a lemon because when he tried to go from a 100 yard target directly to 300 yards he wasn’t even on the paper. Traded him a H&R break action 44 for it. I let him keep the Barska scope off the Ruger. In Alabama I won’t be shooting much over a couple hundred yards of farm fields so have realistic expectations of the rifle. My .223 ContenderCarbine could do the job but it isn’t threaded for a suppressor..
