Classic Movie Remakes

Are always an uphill battle and especially so when the original star was John Wayne. However "True Grit" with Jeff Bridges as Rooster and "Angel and the Bad Man" With Lou Diamond Phillips as Quirt Evans don't have to take a backseat to the originals. Both well done and very entertaining. Sometimes things actually do work right.
