Another full custom Ruger #1 in 45-70

This beauty was in the estate we bought recently and was the old gentleman's baby. It is chambered in 45-70, one of the most popular chamberings in the Ruger #1. This one, like the other #1 below is one of our BEAST rifles and was carried a bit but shot very little. The stock shows a few light scratches from handling. The action and barrel have been refinished in our deluxe Black Chromex finish. It has a lion's head engraved on one side of the action and a bear on the other. It has a full action job and has the loaded chamber indicator on the bottom of the action. The gun sold originally for $2595 on the old gentleman's base gun so it would be valued at around $3800 these days. It is specially priced at $2695.
