Excellent read and bio of a man who brought a whole new definition to great patriate and outstanding American ; from a DFC in ww2 at 17, to hugely successful businessman
I spent many hours discussing many things with him at shot show a safari club
I will miss him greatly

His last project was a pair of revolvers with his signature engraved he made 10 pairs
83 in 454 and a 97. He was set on 357 for the 97 but I bugged him for almost 2 years and he finally told me if I would shut up he would also do the 97 in 45lc
I cherish our set #4.

He was, in an earlier life, a bridge designer and builder and he always had a stack of pictures of the bridges he had designed and built. He had built some really unusual bridges in his life, well before he got with Dick Casull and between the two of them designed and produced the finest hunting revolver ever. He was a true gentleman. His son Bob Baker is following in Wayne's footsteps and continuing with the finest revolvers ever made.
