The picture didn't do it justice. Absolutely beautiful...

Now, I have to wait until the Sheriff "ok's" my having it in my possession. Typical Washington State rules.... I'm sure it makes sense to have me wait a week or so because one more gun in my possession might be dangerous....

I live in WA state also. The mandatory 1639 class certifica-

AR-15s if you like. If you have a CCW you just walk out the door. If you don't then we have to do the NICS check on you but that takes 10 minutes or so.

Then, the Democrats/Liberals stopped us from having that freedom.
I've had a CCL for over 50 years, volunteer for the local Sheriff's office and have never had anything other than a speeding ticket.
We used to be "allowed" to show our CCL card and walk out the door with our new gun the same day. Now, we have to have the permission of the Sheriff's Office to buy a gun.
If it wasn't for the fact that my family has lived in this area since the 1850's and, other than the liberal idiots running the county into crap, it is still a good place to live...

You live in a beautiful part of the state

I really enjoyed the chance to visit you years ago. The politics up there, however, are horrendous. I've got relatives over in King county, don't know what keeps them there, family roots don't go as deep there as yours do.
