Lots and lots of snow today. Almost an hour late getting

here. So many new people from California moving in here out where I live and with over 10" of snow last night and more coming today these California idiots don't know how to drive in snow when the roads haven't been plowed and the roads are just hard packed snow several inches thick and extremely slippery. Lots of fun.

Red fox hunting in new snow this morning.

We got 4” last night. Looked out the window about 0730 and a red fox was going along the edge of the lawn watching the long grass at the edges. I got binos on him and watched him pounce on a mouse. He carried him further out onto the lawn and buried him in snow then hunted all along the edge of the property, front and back lawns. His coat looked perfect, gorgeous animal. Felt very blessed to witness his successful hunt.

Trigger finger on a hunt for big stuff. Misfit diggers the way I think as well in my mind. I should learn to do pictures on the forum because I’d love to show the two snow dumps this week at our house. 16 inches x’s 2 this past week and we will see this stuff untill at least another five or six months in Wasilla Alaska. It is a good ski year at our new ski area in Hatchers pass at Skeetawk Ski Area.

My house has 12 foot ceilings and the house was completely covered except for the chimneys. I had to shovel a hole in the snow from inside to let the dogs out. A couple of large humps were the vehicles. 8 feet of snow on my back deck and looking thru the large window in the back of the house all we could see was snow.
