Used in Die Hard 1 and 2 and Leathal Weapon. 3 of the best Christmas movies ever made.
I was gifted an M9 and I named it John McClane

After the Die Hard movies. Definitely classics!
I've always been a fan of the 92fs

The only downfall to them is that some are accurate and some are not. Ive had quite a few and about half were acceptably accurate for me.
I've heard that about them.

Must depend on what day of the week they're made. Mine shoots well. Just as accurate as any other carry gun I've ever owned if not more so. It has never had a single issue either. Even if this one ended up crapped out I'd still keep it for sentimental reasons. A late good friend of mine unexpectedly gifted it to me on my birthday about 6 years ago. One of the best gifts a gun guy like me could wish for!
Crazy, my whole family shoots them so well.

They all love the M92 even though some can hardly get their hand around the grip. It was the first centerfire handgun both my daughter and youngest son shot. We have a video of 6 yr. old Benj bullseye pegging cans at 15 yds. Both women think it's the greatest.

I've been eyeballing Beretta brand alternatives to the full 92 that might suit as HER carry gun. I'm encouraging her to go through the 8 hr. AR course for Enhanced CCL which includes the State Police qualifying course of timed fire. No doubt she'll qualify with the M92.
I want her to look at the little .32 Bobcat, although I think it's too fat. Also maybe the blow back, tip barrel, .380 (Cheetah?). Beretta made an odd little hybrid called the 9000 that I had once. It was pretty nice, a morphed cut down M92. Hard to fit a good packing gun into a "normal" purse. The "gun purses" are good though, but bulky for a girl on the go.
try a Ruger Max in 380

My issue with Rugers was their trigger action. Very long pull to end right at the last increments of available travel. Just didn’t compare to other stuff out there.
I have a whole bag of Kahr autos. But the smaller you go the more skill you need!
How about the RIA 1911 380? Handled one this past

smaller version at 7 rds, Max is 10 plus 1. striker type auto's appeal to me since I grew up on revolvers with long double action pulls. The Max has a better trigger than the smaller version. It doesnt feel any different to me than my springfield or sig

Very good point. College girls can be hard headed

She’s physically 5’6” and right at 100 lbs. Difficult to hide things on her. We’ll work toward that. It depends on what arm she chooses. Hand strength is another big issue. Ladies struggle with limp writing and slide manipulation. Both good arguments for revolvers!
Have her look at Dene Adams ...

Anna Taylor ... lots of options for women. Now making carry stuff for men also. She named the company after her grandpa who taught her to shoot. Check out some of her videos on YouTube.
