Which was headquartered in our junior high school brought forth the recommendation to change Christmas Vacation to Winter Break. I was able to single-handedly headed off with printed objections dropped in each teachers mailbox in the morning. Pretty soon here came the principal after me. He looked at me and whispered: "thank you". I retired shortly thereafter and no one stood in the way and Winter Break and Spring Break became the norm.
