I saw this material, a sewing implement.

I got to thinking (always a dangerous activity) about how I struggle with ramped revolver sights. Even those with poured in place red inserts. I just wonder if I could get some of this high light gathering plastic and hand file a teeny dovetail piece to epoxy in place, replacing a puddy plastic insert.

I don’t know if anyone has tried it with this material. One fellow made his from toothbrush handle material. This stuff might be a big upgrade. I think I have a clipboard made from this very material somewhere, who’d miss a tiny chunk from a corner…. I know better than to mess with sewing box items!
