John Taffin got me interested in making paper cartridges for my cap and ball pistols .. so I ordered a paper cartridge kit. I ordered a kit with a cartridge former for the .36 and for the .44 Dragoon.

The kit comes with cartridge former, cartridge paper, powder measure for each caliber, powder funner, glue and lube for the ball.

I started with the .36 caliber, making the paper cartridges.

Once those were formed I started adding powder and ball to each.

I loaded 10 of the .36's in my first session and found I was doing better after I did it awhile. I will load some more and then I want to make some .44's for the Dragoon.
