but I did experiment with the .22 K-Hornet and TB. I was using a 45 gr. cast GC bullet and it was difficult to get it subsonic (my objective). It was rather pointless in the end. I was getting .22 WRF performance (not .22 WMR). Perhaps if you were working with heavier bullets 55+ grs. it might have subsonic merit.

Overall the K-hornet is good but the brass is fragile compared to many others. Shoulder splits, loose primer pockets, head separations appear a little early. If you back off max just a bit it really adds longevity. I find the .218 Bee (on the .25-20 WCF case) much easier to work with.
