Cast 330 - 340 of those and then switched to the old #454190

Made about 60 of those and stopped for lunch. Will get back to it in a bit.

but shot a few of the 454424's in the 455GNR this morning.

I think my next casting will be some of Ray Thompson's 452490. For me a slightly more accurate bullet than the 424. But the 424 still get shot 100-1 compared to any other bullet.

it had 2 crimp grooves so you could load it to Magnum length in 38 Special cases.

Dad reamed the gascheck step out of one cavity so it made one plain base and one gascheck bullet. It was real accurate. For heavy loads though I preferred the heavy Keith bullet.

358156. Some claim it to be the best cast .357 bullet there is. I don't know??

Dad liked it and used it for years. He preferred his own plainbase version.

and gas checked this morning, as we had company all weekend. Those big 350, 400, and 525 grain bullets suck the 20 pound lead pot down quickly.
