but decided to do it myself ...
My nephew found it in the desert and sent it to me. I put in to soaking in penetrating oil and left it for a week or so. The following pictures are over a month or more.

THE SPRING STILL WORKS!!!
The hammer now works freely. I am hoping to get the screws free so I can get it apart to clean the internals. I may have to drill some of the pins as well as some of the screws.
It ain't never gonna look purty like Gary can make 'em ... but it's fun to tinker with now and again.
