conversions as we don't have to build a full custom gun. The work consists to working on the gripframe that was ready to put on the frame, fitting new grips and final finish. That's it. So this conversion does not interfere with my guys working on the full packages we work on every day. It also does not set the full package guns back at all. The parts shortages are what keeps us set back but we are gaining on these packages. We were over 2½ years behind this time last year but are gaining every day and are currently right at a year behind on most of the guns except for a couple of the special conversions that use special parts that are still slow coming in.

A couple of the companies that make the small parts we need to finish up the custom guns are catching up slowly but surely. Situations like the escutcheons shortages that I mentioned earlier today, even though it is a very minor shortage, we still have to have them for every gun we work on, and if we don't have them it sets us back. We had about 30 escutcheons promised today from some of the Misfits and one of our distributors who had almost a dozen, so that will help considerably.

So mainly what I am trying to do here is let you know the #5 grip conversions did not go in front of anyone that has been waiting for well over 2 years.
