Reeder Custom Guns - We have been getting some freezing rain since yesterday

Not much really sticking other than on grass and tree limbs .. pretty lightly. The ground temps are warm enough that the sidewalks are just wet. It's holding around 28 degrees. But drivers are crashing and sliding anyhow because (1) the roads are wet and (2) they cannot slow down and seem to have to maintain at least 80 MPH unless that is the speed limit.

Never fear though. Austin has its road crew on the job!

I literally have driven today where no man can walk. Were it not for a 6k lb. SUV with AWD I could not have gone either. As long as it stay moving a little it's ok, if you stop on any angle you slowly slide over to a stopping point. I've picked up a few employees and hauled to and fro but the town is about effectively shut down. To go out is just asking for it. Plus there is more on the way! Yippie!

Some places there is a 6" wide, dry, twin path, to make you think it's clearing pavement luring you into some speed before it goes away and is polished ice once again. What fun.

But folks expect water to squirt when they open that faucet or flush. So we are here.
