Watched it last night for the third time. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson are superb as Frank Hamer and Mainy Gault, the Texas Rangers who came out of retirement to track down Bonnie and Clyde.
I've watched it 3 times, Excellent movie

gun stuff seems to be right on unlike some of the other gun movies where they shoot their handguns 20 times or more without reloading.

WALK OUT WITH A Colt Monitor, BAR, Thompson, several shotguns, a couple 1911s, a 1917 .45 ACP, several cases of .45 ammunition-- no paperwork, no questions. Also go along with the 4-3/4" .45 SAAs they were already carrying. I think that's called the "Good Old Days."
It was still ALMOST that good in the early 1960's.

When I came home from 2 1/2 years overseas in 1969 and went to buy a Ruger single action I had to fill out a Federal Form! I was astounded! While I was out of the country supposedly fighting communists they had taken over at home!
Enjoyed it several times.
