360 Buckhammer brass for 400 GNR Short?
I may have need of a hunting cartridge that qualifies in the handful of straight-wall only states.
Have a 400 GNR contender barrel, but the case is beyond the 1.8" max length that most of these states require. Instead of bothering with trimming and neck reaming my good 400 GNR brass, I was thinking about fire-forming some 360 buckhammer brass once the cartridges become available.
Reasonable or horrible idea?
