Shooting The Old H&R Pistol Long Range
I shot it all of TWENTY FEET today! And the old thing did not do badly .. considering where it came from. It looked like this when I got it:

Today on the Range this is it:

All targets were shot offhand at 20 feet.
This load was the Bear Creek 96 gr. roundnose bullet .361" diameter and 10 gr. of 2Fg Black Powder.

It does hit a bit to the left but that's not a big deal. The fact that it works is pretty amazing and that it shoots as well as it does with pretty deep pitted bore and chambers .. well, I ain't asking a lot of it. I do have problems seeing the sights.

But for shooting from bar stool to bar stool you shouldn't need sights.
