I blued a big batch of our Flattop Tools

over the weekend. With varmint season coming this little tool with come in handy. It converts a plain jane cheap round nose 22 LR into the power of a 22 Magnum. And with 22 Magnum's prices high these days this little tool comes in handy. It does 3 rounds at a time so in no time you can have a box of 50 ready to go, and those cheap Walmart or Kmart 22 LRs become as powerful as a 22 Magnum. They work thru a semi auto too. The Flattop Tools are specially sale priced at $75. In the Flattop Tool when you put 3 rounds of round nose 22 LR in the tool a small amount of the round nose sticks above the top of the tool.

With a razor blade or sharp knife you cut that round nose off, leaving a round with a flat nose. That's it. That small change converts that 22 LR round nose to the power of a 22 Magnum. The problem of doing this conversion without the Flattop Tool is if the cut isn't flat and clean with no jagged edges your accuracy is ruined. With the tool the cut is clean and no jagged edges left over. This way your converted round is more accurate than the standard round nose 22 LR.plus being considerably more powerful.
