While sitting in a car and holstered his Glock. Seems his untucked shirt wadded up inside the trigger guard, depressed both the trigger safety paddle AND the trigger when he jammed it into his kydex holster. I bet it hurt plenty. But he survived!

The SIGs are much more sensitive than Glocks. The Kahrs I sometimes use have basically a DA revolver pull and would not likely do that, nor a revolver!

That’s my .357 SP, P380, and PM45. I had to modify and stretch a J-frame Don Hume rig to fit the SP101, it got there finally. I think those are Reeder Ruger inserts, can’t remember, he’s done a bunch.

A member off the front side. I have been carrying a Taurus G2s 40 sw lately. Backed up in the pocket by a LCP 380 in the pocket.
Have been looking at the Kahr cw 45, and a few charter bulldogs.

The .45 is much easier on the hand. I found my PM45 will function with Colt brand 1911 mags, some types of GI mags too. Not sure about the CW models. The really long DA is smooth as glass all the way through but it takes practice. It really feels like a flat revolver.

state to try them. We had several cops shoot themselves in the ass pulling the Glock out of the holster and pulling the trigger at the same time. Our shooting range was next to the cop range, just a half wall between them. The qualifying of the Glocks was fun to watch. The cops had to pull their gun and fire from the hip at 7 yards and hit the human silhouette target in 5 seconds. They would yank the Glock out and start pulling the trigger, the first 3 rounds would hit the ground in front of the cop with the next three hitting the ground in front of the target. Very few even hit paper.

She stopped this guy and he came out shooting. She pulled her Glock and shot herself in the leg as she pulled it. But she put the next 10 or so in him and fixed him proper. That she kept fighting after shooting herself says a lot about her attitude.

When I was attending college, I offset my tuition by working nights and weekends at a local convenience store. It was in a small town but one that had some social issues.

Although against policy, I carried a handgun anyways. My State Police friend told me that if something were to happen, help was at minimum twenty minutes away.

So I took it upon myself to protect myself.

I carried a Taurus M85 snub-nosed revolver with the Federal FBI load (the 158 grains SWC HP lead gas check at +P levels).

I found the best way to carry with the greatest amount of discreetness was to do the appendix carry. I had a special IW holster held in that location.

Never had a problem and I would practice from that position from time to time. Again, never had a problem because I used thought in my actions.

But I would never carry a Glock or any other handgun with a similar trigger system. A heavy DA revolver action, at least to me, is not a problem. A Glock? Well. Not so much.

Position, at least not without a thumb safety. Snubby revolvers would be a more welcome weapon to carry in that spot.
