The Bill Of Rights ... my thoughts

The first 10 Amendments to the Constitution of the United States are what is known as the "Bill of Rights". The rights enumerated therein are not rights granted to us by the government or by the Constitution. The Bill of Rights are not Constitutional rights. They are "inalienable" rights; that is, they exist apart from any document or government edict. "The Bill of Rights is the list of fundamental ...rights [given] to man by his Creator, that defines what it means to be...free...." (The Second Amendment Primer by Les Adams, page 245). These rights are God-given. While I focus on the Second Amendment, you do need to familiarize yourself with all 10 of them for all are being denied us, little by little. Get a copy of the Bill of Rights today and begin to study it.

That those rights are not "granted" or "given" by man has been noted by the Supreme Court in times past. In U.S. vs. Cruickshank the Court, speaking of the Second Amendment said it is ".....not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependant upon that instrument for its existence."

In other words, even if "they" could repeal the Second Amendment, that repeal would not be legitimate. Man did not give man this right. Therefore man cannot take it away. Any group or government that attempts to do so with any part of the Bill of Rights is criminal and illegitimate, even if it has the majority of the voters behind it. Any such actions do not require obedience.

By acting in such a manner as to try to deny God-given rights, such a government has lost any moral authority to govern and has become an enemy of the people. It has become a tyranny. Those who are part of it are tyrants. However misguided, however honest in their beliefs, they are ENEMIES WHO ARE INTENT ON MAKING US AND OUR DESCENDANTS SLAVES.

I am no prophet and I have no clue as to what will happen in this nation or anywhere else for that matter. I am making no predictions. Nor am I calling for anyone to do anything. I believe that if you know how to pray, it is time to do so. If you don't know how to pray it is past time to learn.
