A new series just getting started. We built a custom

45 Long Colt a while back and several folks mentioned it was much like John Wayne's 45 in his movies. That gave me the inspiration to go further than that and come out with a John Wayne classic. Now we can't call it the John Wayne Classic as his name is trade marked and the Wayne family would not be happy with us. So we did the next best thing. It is the JW Classic. How's that? The gun is a bit more like the gun used by Wayne in his westerns. That being a 4¾" 45 Colt with the straw colored grips. We plan to build several of these beauties in this series and this one is the prototype. I will furnish a letter attesting to that being the first one made and the prototype. The gun is full custom with the color cased frame and deluxe Black Chromex finish on the rest of the gun. It has gold bands on barrel and cylinder. The action is super slick and the grips fit the hand perfectly. They are the sorta straw color that Wayn's gun had. All in all I think old John would have been happy with it.
This gun is the prototype of the series and should run around $2600 or so. I have it specially priced at $2195.
