First trip to Africa hunting out of Bandur Lodge in the northern portion of Limpopo. The weather was very hot and the hunting hard. The good LORD blessed me with the opportunity to harvest these four animals, two of which may be Gold medal SCI.

Blue Wildebeest taken with a frontal shot at 88 yards. Freedom Arms 454 shooting a 300 grain Speer Deep Curl bonded bullet at 1605 fps. He ran about 40 yards and a second shot at 20 yards anchored him for good.

The two recovered bullets weighed 285 and 283 grains.

Blesbok taken at 98 yards with the same load. Complete pass through and he only traveled about 10 yards.

Impala taken at 40 yards with the same load. He ran as I hit a little low in front of the heart and required a second shot at 100 yards through the lungs. Both shots a complete pass through.

Waterbuck taken at 106 yards with my 378 GNR using a 260 grain Nosler Accubond.
