Preach on... of late though

the computerized design technology has allowed manufacturers to truly "nail" ergonomics, reliability, and handling qualities, never before truly mastered, at a price that is proportionally much less than it has ever been before. Modern plastic wonders can be had that are literally a part of extension of you that were almost impossible to achieve with metal and certainly could not be produced affordably.

Of just that line up the Glock 19/23 simply works and shoots where pointed, every time, with absolutely no fuss, little effort, and no soul. The Kahr is a spacegun compared to what I listed over in the 1980's. A 16-18 oz. .45 ACP DA that has no extra buttons, is completely safe to carry loaded, and can even use some 1911 mags. The German Walther is made like the German think a pistol should be (because everyone else is wrong). But by golly the ergonomics are incredible. It points like an angry grandmother. The little Taurus G2/3 is a fantastic little gun and costs less than $300 on sale!

To play devil's advocate and quote JT "these are the good O'l days" - in gunsport.
