performance center S&W revolver. S&W has had a lot of special Performance Center guns thru the years. Many were like that monstrosity shown in the thread below. But a couple were really nice hunting guns. The one that RSR Distributor had S&W make for them in '91 or '92 (500 guns I think) in 41 and in 44 was this one. I used the 41 chambered in 41 GNR on several hunts in Africa, then like a moron let someone talk me out of it. I also had one in 44 Mag that again went down the road in a weak moment. The 41 GNR I had and used in Africa was one of the finest double action hunting revolvers I have ever owned. I have looked for one of these since I did something stupid and let it go bye bye. The Performance Center guns that I really liked came out in '91 or '92.I haven't seen one since then but I am still looking for either the 41 or the 44.
