AR coatings

Does anybody here have any experience with vinyl wraps and/or hydro dipping for a finish on an AR?

Just finished building my stepson a dedicated .2LR AR, and he is looking at very complicated (ie expense) cerakote paint jobs.

I have just started looking at the idea of wrap or dip.

And it turned out really nice. The company i used stopped doing it so i only saw a few

I am definitely leaning towards dip over vinyl wrapped.
How did the finish wear?

Seemed stronger than most cerakotes. Wasn't as soft
