I have (3) in actual .327 chambering, several more in lesser .32’s including the .32-20. It’s quite fun and I seem to find use for it. Not a big game round but it might do perhaps for very small deer. The .32 WCF managed well before folks were told it couldn’t. My 1903 Colt Bisley is so chambered, and is fun as one can toy with your britches on.

I see the .327 sort of a modernized .32-20 for the newbies. Makes a great trail gun and shoot’s up to 120 gr. bullets easily. Plus it can fire lesser straight walled .32 center fire rounds!

I've had several, sold both after a few years. Still have a Henry, and a TC barrel. I really like the cartridge shot 100gr coated Acme bullets real well.

I got into 32 handguns when shooting ground squirrels in Idaho with my 45 Colt, cause when I ran out of ammo the 32 guys still had plenty. Anyway, the 327 is a true magnum and easy to reload... I have a decent supply of brass and bullets... Gary opened an extra 32 mag cylinder to 327 on the K-32 and my seven shot GP-100 is below Redhawk... Have yet to take any game with the round but know a few who have and it worked...[image][image]

Those .32 are sweet!

would do one of our smaller deer or antelope quite easily. The old 32-20 round in a Winchester out here was probably perfect medicine for deer back a hundred plus years ago.

Doug had a Marlin .32-20 and I was surprised

Loading a hot load with a 120 gr. we got almost 2200 fps! I think it was a 24" barrel. That's not far behind factory .30-30 150 gr. loads!

He also had a Reeder BH in .32-20 and it ran 1500-1700 fps easily. You'd not want to stick one of those in an old Colt, or Police Positive Special, but it was impressive.

in my Marlin 1894 .32-20

I ran the AK47 bullet ...

125 gr. Speer .311" Spitzer (AK47 bullet)
14.5 gr. 296
1975 fps

I once shot a big Great Dane that was chasing the cows. I saw it and another dog running the cows in the pasture, nipping at them and so I slipped close without them seeing me. When I stepped out in front of them the smaller dog took off. The Great Dane bared his teeth and started toward me from about 25 yards. I put one of the AK47 bullets into the center of his chest and he hit the ground and died growling and biting the dirt.

I got the smaller dog about 20 minutes later.

I have a Gary built 327 single seven done up as a doc

got sold to finance other handguns. I think a keeper would have been a GP100. I really wanted a blue one but waited too long and now they're scarce and expensive. I looked for a short while in late winter for a Henry 327, those seem handy.
