I am going to out to try and find a grizzly this weekend. The snow has finally receeded enough. My self imposed minimum is a 7 footer. I am going to see if this 378 gnr will do the job.![[image]](images/uploaded/202305031658076452929f0367f.jpg)
Good Luck!!!!

the ear. If you are using 300 grain FMJ that should do it. Don't take a head on shot as the bullet will skim off the skull and then you have a pissed off Grizzly and an empty single shot weapon.
No, but Thanks

I shoot to break the bear down. Such as shoulder/double lungs.
You have a big revolver for back up? 510 gnr , etc?

Probably 10 to 15 years ago we had a fellow on here that

loved to argue and start crap. If I posted a new gun we just finished he would immediately post on here and ask what the headspace was and what the twist was and no matter what I posted he would tell me I was wrong that it should be something else.
He would post things on here saying that our guns were inferior in that we didn't know what the twist rate should be and our headspace at .004 was too loose. He constantly caused problems and arguments not just at me but at some of the other guys.
John Taffin is one of the finest gentleman I know but even he lost his temper and came back at the guy a time or two.
If I posted the pics of a new gun the guy would immediately come back and tell anyone that would listen that one of the other custom guys had a gun like that but it was done better and I was screwing anyone that bought one of our custom guns was getting junk guns.
I spent hours on here just taking his crap off but invariably I would miss one. Probably my best friend, Puffy, would call or e-mail me at home if the yoyo was at it again. It was almost a 24 hour job just taking this guy's crap off. I don't allow arguing on here and the guy loved to start something either with me or one of the guys on here. Finally several of the Misfits on here posted some things letting the guy know he wasn't needed nor wanted on here. He finally quit posting and after that if someone posted that they had a question I would tell them sure, as long as it wasn't about the twist rate or the headspace. That actually became a real touchy subject for me. Now we can laugh at it but at the time it wasn't a laughing matter.
A couple of years ago we had another guy on here who hated me and John Taffin for some reason. I could understand him hating me but not John Taffin. He would post some filthy stuff about one or both of us. Now we have the registering system in effect and have had no problems in a few years, thank the Lord.
So that is the headspace and twist rate thing the guys were talking about.
Thank You for the response
