Warning to Lion Hunters

I saw a clip of a fellow and a Leopard
or "Jaguar" as it might have been India. They were loaded up in a truck on some path. He had the window down about 6". The cat wadded up on that open bit and reached in and clawed everyone in the front cab at least a little before running off! Six inches!
They are lightning fast and I'd rather not have one tenderizing me. Roll up the windows!
On our recent lion hunt in Africa we had a lion crouched
in heavy grass no more than 5 feet in front of the truck. One of the trackers standing in the back of the truck spotted him and got the driver's attention and had him stop the Land Cruiser. He tried to show us the lion but none of us could see him. The tracker kept saying "look for the eyes", as that was what he saw of the lion. John, our PH finally spotted the lion or a small part of him and told the driver to very slowly back the truck up. When we got back to about 10 feet from where the lion was we spent several minutes trying to see enough of the lion for me to take a shot. In the pic below the lion is in the middle of the picture.

After I shot the lion the PH told us if we had gone past the lion he would have jumped up in the truck with us. Typical of a cat, if you run away or even back away slowly he is going to come after you.
